NAPIUR, Wednesday.
An influential deputation waited on Mr Ormond, and presented him with a requisition to stand for the representation of Napier at the next general elections. The requisition was signed by over 100 electors. Mr Ormond expressed his gratification at being asked to come forward, and said he should not have re« entered public life unless he could represent a constituency with whose interests his own were bound.
