ASSESSMENT COURT. Ngaruawahia Town District. It having been proved to me that no Valuation List, as requited by the Rating Act, 1876, has been prepared for the above distiict, I do hereby appoint MiGeorge T. M. Kcllow, of Ngaruawaliia, as valuator, to make such Hot, and order that the same shall be completed and deposited for public inspection at the office of the Town District Board on the 31st day of March, 1884, and that all objections, thereto shall be delivcied at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, Ngaruawaliia, on or before the 7th day of April, 1884, and a copy of every such objection deliveied to the local body seven clear clays before the sitting of the Assessment Court, which will be holden in the said Courthouse on Monday, the 21st day of Apiil, 1884, at the hour of 12 o'clock noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitoa Road Board pioposes to STOP the undei mentioned portions of a ROAD in Te Pao o tu Raw am, No. 2 Block, and to take land for Roads in lieu thereof :—: — Roads to be Closed.

1. A piece of Road, containing 2 acres I peich, between section 10 (Rich and Williams) and section II (J. B. Kells). 2. A pioc'9 of Road, containing 2 roods, between sections 10 and 11. 3. A piece of Road, containing 5 acres 10 perches, between sections 10 and 11. 4. A piece of Road, containing 2 acres 3 roods 3.i pciches, between section 10 (Rich and Williams) and section 12 (W. C. Wiight).

NOTICE is hereby given that, in conforn.ity with the provisions ot "The Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882," and of "The Rating Act, 1882," the Piako County Council intend, at a special meeting to be held at Cambridge at o p.m. on Wednesday, the 9th day of April next, to MAKE A SPECIAL RATE of one-tenth of a penny in the £ upon all rateable value within the Taotaoroa Riding ; such late to be an annually recurring rate, and payable in ten equal yeaily payments on the fiist day of March in each year, the first payment to be made on the fiist day of March, 1885.
