Mr Axfhei) BuctLvxn's Wkekly RhPOltr.— At the Hayimrket, on Friday last, fodder was in butter enquiry than the previous week. Prices ranged from 3s (id to 4* Od i)Bi- cwt. ; oat*, 2s 9d pjr bushel. Horse stock were offered in full number, and met with a steady sale ; and good farm horses were in stiudy enquny at prices ranging from £IG to £30. On Tuesday hides were pitched in full number, and maintained the improved prices of the 1 ist few weeks, ranging from 3d to I^l pjrlb., the greater part selling at 3 \d to 3 ( 'd ; tillow, 2">-> (id to 2!)-! O'd percivL ; pelts .and skins, from 7d to 2s Id each; woo] (m bales), from s£d to b"d per lb. AtPokeno, on Monday, very few cattle were yarded ; but at Ihuiy, on Wednesday, there was an unusually large muster of good grazing cattle, and a numerous attendance of buyers both from Waikato, Mangare, and the immediate neighbourhood. Three to four-yeais' steers ranged from £3 10s to£l 12» Od each. At Remuera on Tnursday, dairy cow-, at calving were be ter worth, few store cattle yarded, fat cattle in full number-,, but many of them were of indifferent quality ; for those the return would be unsatisfactory, but choice animals, in some instances, reached 2os. but the market was veiy irregular, and tho greater number of good cattle were at 22s the 1001b-.. ; fat calves were forwarded in u->ual numbers but sold well throughout ;f. it sheep in aveiagesiipply, and although dull of s.ile weie at late value*.
