T>IAKOCOUNTY. Waitoa Riding. Roads and Bridges Construction Act 1882, and Amendment Act 1883. The Piako County Council having made application lor a grant in aid of mam loads within the County, Ratepaying of the above riding are hereby notified as under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, Sections 12 and 49. Works proposed to be undertaken within above riding : — ' Earth-cutting, grading, draining, gravelling and making culverts on a portion of main road lying between confiscation line and Waihou river. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be £21 per year for ten years and the special rate required to meet same is one eightieth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Waitoa riding. Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates ot the cost of such proposed work may be seeii at the office of the Piako County Council, Cambridge, during ordinary business hours. OIAKO COUNTY. Te Aroha Riding.
Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882, and Amendment Act, 1883.
The Piako County Council having made application for a grant in aid ot main lo.uls within the County, ratepayers of the above riding are hereby notified as under, in accoi dance with the provisions of the above Act, sections 12 and 49. Works proposed to be undertaken within above Riding :—: — Metalling, Re-forming and Improving that portion of the main road lying between Te Aioha township and Waiorongomai. Making Culverts and Improving that portion of the main load lying between Waiorongomai and Shaftesbury. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be, £21 per year for ten years, and the, special rate required to meet same is onefifteenth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Te Aroha 1 Riding. t
Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of such proposed woi k may be seen at the office of the PiaUo County Council, Cambiidge, during ordinary business hours. Roads and Bridges Construction Act, ISB2, and Amendment Act, ISB3.
The Piako County Council having iuade application tor a grant in aid of Main Roads within the County, Ratepayers of the above Rifling are hereby notified as under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, sections 12 and 49 :—: — Works proposed to be undertaken within above Riding :—: — Erecting four Bridges, several Culverts, Diaining and Cleat ing on Main Road between Nonis's corner and Stamford bridge. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be £41 per year for ten years, and the special rate required to meet same is one-tenth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Taotaoroa Riding. Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost ot such proposed work may be seen at the office of the Piako County Council, Cambridge,^during ordinary business hours. A POLL of the Ratepayers of the above Riding will be taken at Taotaoroa on MONDAY, the 31st day of March next. By order.

It having been proved to me that no Valuation List as required by "The Rating Act, 1876," has been prepared for the above district, I do hereby appoint Mr Forbes Gordon, of Kihikihi, as valuator to make such list, and order that the same shall be completed and deposited for public inspection at the Public Hall, Kihikihi, on the 20th day of March instant, and that all objections thereto shall be delivered at the Public Hall, Kihikihi, on or before the hour of noon on the 27th day of March instant ; arjd I further appoint a sitting of the Assessment Court for hearing such objections to be held at the said Public Hall at the hour of 4 p.m. on Thursday, the 27th day of March instant.
