New Zealand securities rein lin at last quotations. 5 per cent. 10.40 loan. 102^ (ex div.) ; 5 per cent. ISS9 loan, 104; 4\ per cent. 1870 1904 loan. 100: 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 100. Colonial breadstuffs : Adelaide wheat (ex store), new crop, is quoted at 4Gs per 4961b5; Adelaide flour, ex store, per 2981b5, 30s; New Zealand wheat, ex store, per 3961b5, remain at 36s to 425. Australian tallow, average quality : Beef, 33s ; mutton, 41a At the wool sales to-day, 11,000 bales were catalogued. The market is firm.
The Hank of England has reduced the rate of discount to 3 per cent.
