YT/" AIPA COUNTY. RATEPAYERS of the above county arc hereby notified that, in terms of Section 12, Roads and Btidges Construction Act, 1882_, the Waipa County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £G42 for the piupose of constructing certain portions of the main roads in the county, between Te Awamutu and Kihikihi, at Kihikihi, Moanatuatua, Mangapiko, Hamilton, and Tuhikaramea. The amount of yearly payments (ten) to be made to the Government will be £16 0s 8d per annum, and the special rate required to meet them will be one one-hundred and-seventy-seventh of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of the district per annum. Plans and particulars of works may be inspected at the office of the Waipa County Council, Ohaupo. To decide whether the County Council shall or shall not boirow the sum of £642 and undertake the works intended, a poll of the ratepayei s will be taken at the County Council Chambers, Ohaupo, on Tuesday, the Ist April, 1884, commencing at 9 o'clock a.m., and closing at 6 p.m. N.
