' Some slight damage was done on the tramway by the heavy ram on Saturday, but lepaiis ha\e been effected, and traffic was opened again during to-day. Crushing is going on steadily at the battery for the Colonist, New Find, Premier and Vulcan Companies. There is no fresh news from the hill. Large congregations attended the opening seiviceb of the new Roman Catholic Church yesterday, when Bishop Luck preached in the morning and evening. The offertories amounted to over JSo 1 ).
