RATEPAYERS of the above county are hereby notified that., in terms of Section 12, Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882, the Waipa County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £G42 for the purpose of constructing certain portions of the main roads in the county, between Te Awamutu and Kihikihi, at Kihikihi, Moanatuauia, Mangapiko, Hamilton, and Tuhikaramea. The amount of yeaily payments (ten) to be made to the Government will be £16 OsSd per annum, and tho special rate required to meet them will he one one-hundied and-seventy-se\enth of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of the district per annum. Plans and particulars of works may be inspected dining business hours at the office of Messis Sandes andNapper, C.E., at Hamilton. To decide whether the County Council shall or shall not bonow the sum of £642 and undertake the woiks intended, a poll of the ratepaycis will be taken at the County Council Chambeis, Ohaupo, on Tuesday, the ISth Maich, ISSt, commencing at 9 o'clock a.m., and closing at 6 p.m. N.
