The cattle yarded were principilly stceis (well-bred) from 2 t> 4-yrs-old, and fat stock. Dairy ows were in reque.st, and nearly all sold at an advance of tilling rates. With the exception of 0,10 pen all sheep yarded sold, brisk competition existing throughout. Besides above horses a large number were entered and disposed of at satisfactory prices to vendois. Hoise atock were in usual number, but no fresh ntock being offered, were dull of bale. At the Haymaiket, on Tuesday, a larger quantity of fodder than on any other Tuesday was bi ought forward ; prices were without alteration. At the hide, skin and wool sale, on Tuesday, hides weie in busk enquiry ; prices ranged from 2UI to 31d ; calf skins, Id to 4d the lb ; sheepskins, !)d to Is !)d cich ; « owl (m gre.iso), .'J|d to ">\(\ the lb ; fat tallow, 20,-, to 80- the cwt. At the Pokeno Yaids, on Monday, a small muster of stock met a fair sale, at cuuent values. At Dim y, on Wednesday, an unusually laige number of cattle (mostly young .stock) weie yarded. There was a good attendance of buyeis, and good pi ices throughout; many hunched cattle »ere told. At Remuera, on Thuisday, dairy cows of model ate quality weie plentiful and at lower value* than List week. Stoic, bteers in good demand. Fat cattle in average number only, but at lower value than last week, about 2-, the lOOlb^.. Sheep in usual number and Lite pi ices fully sustained. Lambs abundant and of good quality, but the season appeals to have passed, for unless \ery choice their pi ice was not over 7s each. Pig-> plentiful and in brisk demand.
