RATEPAYERS of the above county are hereby notified that., in teims of Section 12, Roails and Biidges Construction Aot, 18S2, the Waipa County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £042 for the purpose of constructing certain poitions of the main loads in the county, between Te Awamutu and Kihikihi, at Kihikihi, Moanatuatua, Mangapiko, Hamilton, and Tuhikaramea. The amount of yearly payments (ten) to be made to the Government will be £16 osBd per annum, and the special rate required to meet them will be one one-hundred and-seventy-seventh of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of the district per annum. Plans and particulars of works may be inspected during business hours at the office of Messrs Sandes andNapper, C.E,, at Hamilton. To decide whether the County Council shall or shall not borrow the sum of £642 and undertake the works intended, a poll of the ratepayers will be taken at the County Council Chambers, Ohaupo, on Tuesday, the ISth March, ISB4, commencing at 9 o'clock a.m., and closing at 6 p.m. , N.
