Duneoin, Monday, Cutts was out early this morning with Sou'-weater and' July. He gave them a fine gallop twice round outside the hurdles, in company with Holderne&s, Sou'-westev pulling over his companions all the way. Ray sent Nonsense once round slow, and Vanguard twice at a .steady pace. Hippodamia did a n\\]e b,y her&elf, and was then joined by Whitebait, who finished the Cup distance with her at top speed. Tim Whiffler was sent a similar journey alone, while Mata did similar work on the tan. Taiaroa had a couple of rounds outside the hurdles at a steady pace. Hazard did a serviceable two-mile gallop with Lady Emma. The Wave filly did ljghfc wopk satisfactorily. Jilt and Minerva were sent a mile and a quarter at three-quarter speed, and The Poet a couple of miles at half-pace. Lady Evelyn did light work on the tan. Witherby and Rocket did good work. The Age and Prospero had a capital gallop, both moving well. Salvage went twice round at ha}f» speed, Cauyeyier and Xjltt^e tfqhn did good work, but the doiible event gave Sheehan a, lot of trouble.
