Iron as a Substitute for Lead in Shot.
It is reported that a company has been founod in lowa for the puipose of manufacturing sporting shot from iron. It is stated that the trials winch have been made of the "hot have proved it to be fully equal, and in some respecl3 superior to the lead shot. Chens aio now being put up to anneal the shot.
