A fatal hre occurred this morning at Demhquin, resulting in the loss of four Jives. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the motion of want of confidence in the Government, proposed by Sir John Robertson, the leader of the Opposition, came on for discussion. The debate lasted till this morning, when tbe motion, was rejected without a division. It i» expected that the Government will shoitly propose some modification in their taxation scheme.
