THE MINISTER FOR PUBLIC WORKS IN WAIKATO.
The ho.\. Mr Mitohelson arrived in Hamilton by special train on Tuesday night. He was accompanied by Mi F. A. Whitaker, M.H.R., Mr ,T. P. Maxwell, (ienoial Manager of New Zealand Rai lways, Mr W. H. Hales, District Engineer, and Mi Goddun, Private Secretary. The party was niet at Hamilton by Mr J. B. Whyte, M.H.R. Mr Mitchelson stayed the night at Gwynne's Hotel. Yesterday morning the paity, including Mr Whyte, L j ft for Cambiidgo in two of Mr Johnbon'b waggons. Mr Maxwell returned to AuckLuul.
