KIHIKIHI TOWN DISTRICT BOARD. "Roads axd Bridges Construction Act, 1882."
THE Ratepayers of the Kihikihi Town District are hereby notified in terms of Section 49 "Roads and Bridges Construction Act, ISS2," that the Kihikihi Town District Board have MADE AN APPLICATION to the Government FOR A LOAN of £200, for the purpose of constructing Lyon and Whitmore-streets, in the Town of Kihikihi, the eotimated cost of which is £200. The fifteen yearly payments required to be made to the Government •will be £18, and the special l-ate required to meet them will be one-fifth of a penny in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the district. Plans, &c, of the proposed works may be inspected for four weeks at the office of the board, chairman's residence, Whitm ore-street. TO DECIDE whether the board shall or shall not borrow the £200, and execute the works above-mentioned, A POLL of the ratepayers WILL BE TAKEN at the Town Hall, Kihikihi, on SATURDAY, the 9th day of February, 1884, commencing at 9 o'clock a.m., and closing at 6 o'clock p.m. JAMES FARRELL, Chairman Kihikihi Town District Board.
