THE NEW ZEALAND LOAN.
*—■ ■■- [heutek's telegrams.—corrmoHT.]. London, January 11. Tenders for the New Zealand loan of a million sterling, bearing interest at the rate of 4 per cent., were opened to-day. The total amount offered was found to be five millions. Tenders at £100 5a will icccive 54 per cent, of the allotment, and those above that price w ill receive in full. The minimum fixed were £98 10s.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, January 11. The New Zealand loan of five million was subscribed fivefold. The probable average will be £100 Bs. There were an enonnoiiB number of tenders, one tenderer applying for the whole amount.
(Received January 12th, 8 p.m.) London, January 11. All tenders for the New Zealand loan below £100 os Gd are declined Those at that price will get oi per cent, of the amount applied for.
