Mn Alfred Bucklaxd's Weekly Re-ronr.-—At the Hay market on Friday last, December 28th, straw hold at extreme pi-ices, aud therj is an enquiry for far more than is brought forward. The horse market was tilled with horse btock of all classes. Good draughts are scarce, and maintain their prices, but medium tiding horses and unbroken stock are at natch lower values. A am iller than usual muster of bides and skins on Monday last brought late prices. Hides up to 3d the lb ; best skins, 3s 4d and 3s Gd each ; tallow, 23s to 23* the cwt. At Remuera, on Thursday a few dairy cows only yarded, those brought fiom £!> to £7 10s each. Stoic cattle weio dull of .sale at barely lato values.. Fat cattle m full numbers and of good quality, late prices fully sustained ; no store sheep yarded ; fat bheep were in as usual number and maintained their price; lambs shoit of requucment aud better worth 2s each ; fat lambi and porkeirf were also in good enquiry; averages were, 11 steers, Win.
