HAMILTON WESLEYAN CHURCH.

Thk quarterly meeting in connection with the Hamiltou Wc-loyaii circuit was held on Boxing Day at the Rukuhia station. Tliere was a large attendance of ofHcebeai ets from all parts of the ciicuit, and ako a number of friends, guests of Mr N. R. Buttle. The Rev. J. Dukes presided. The stewards presented the quarterly balance-sheet, which showed a .slight deficiency. Messrs Fi ench and Buttle, retiring circuit stewards, were unanimously re-, elected to the same office. Mr Geo. French was appointed representative at the conference to be held in Wellington on January 18th. Several other matters in connection with the circuit were fully discussed. A very pleasant day was spent. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr N. R. Buttle, and Mr and Mrs Norrlsh for the kind manner in which the wants of all prosent had been attended to, when all returned home well pleased with their day's enjoyment.
