The Ratepayers of the Kihikihi Road District are hereby notified, in terms of Section 49, Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882. that the Kihikihi Road Board have made an application to the Government for a loan of £200, for the purpose of Constructing part of^ Lyons and Wliitmorc-strects, in the Tow n of Kihikihi, the estimated cost of which is £200. The fifteen yearly payments required to be made to the Government will be £18, and the Special Rate required to meet them will be one-fifth of a penny in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the district. Plans, &c, of the proposed works may be inspected, for four weeks, at the residence of the undersigned. NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Kifukihi Road Board, in terms of sections 93 and 94, and subsections thereof, of "The Public Works Act, 1852," to CLOSE that poition of Bryce-strcet, in the Ton n of Kihikihi, running East from Oliver-street, between allotments 220, 221, and 222 on the North, and allotments 228, 241, 240 on the South ; thence through Dick-street, and between allotments 361, 362, 363 on the North, and allotments 3SO, 379, 378, 377 on the South to Atkinson-street.
