The War in the Soudan. Cairo, December 9.
Despatches to hand from Soudan, dated tlu j ,")th inst., state than an attack in force was made on that dale by the Arab hillmcn upon the Egyptian troops, who had been despatched as reinforce meats for the garrison at Souakim. The attack was made some distance outside the town, and resulted in the destruction of live companies of Egyptian troops.
