Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 10s, Nominasions to be made before the start for the Hack Race, and acceptances to be notified to the Clerk of the Scales not later than 15 minutes after declaration of the weights.
Nominations for Hurdles Cup, Waikato Stakes, and Publican's Purse close at 9 p.m. Tlnusday, 10th January, ISB4. Name, age, and pedigree of horses and colours of i icier to be sent to the secretary on that date. All protests must be in writing, and accompanied by 2sovs., to be forfeited if the protest is frivolous No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes and objections arising shall be decided by the stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. Qualification fee for all races except Selling Hack Race, one guinea. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stakes. All nominations, accompanied by the necessaiy amount in cash, must be sent to the Secretary, Te Awamutu, not later than 9 p.m. on Thursday, the 10th January, 1884. Wei-'hts will be declared in Waikato Times and N.Z. Herald on Tuesday, loth January. . Acceptances close at 9pm. on night ot geneial entry, Tuesday, 22nd January.
