LYTTELTON, Thursday. " Q.E.D.," in the Lyttolton Times to-day, suggests the, co-operation of shippers tin oughout the colony to form an agency company to undertake the distribution of meat, thioiighout the United,. Kingdom, with a capital of £250,000 in, £5' shares, the first issue of 10,000 shares 'to be distributed throughout the colony as follows :—Christchinch, 2000 ; 'Dunedin; 2000 ;, Wellington. 1500; Auckland, 1500 ; Nelson, Napier, Invercargill, Oatnaru, Timaru, Wanganui, 500 each. The proposal is for the establishment of a large depot in London, with' retail depots throughout London nnd the'large towns in the United Kingdom. Shippers of meat are invited to communicate with " Q. E.D.,"Lyttslton, if disposed to support the proposed company.
