The boundary runs within T>o feet of the Premier gold, which apparently dips very fast in to the Smile of Foi tune, and ; will be mobably found theie at the ne\t level. Two other lodes also outcrop in " Smile," in one of which .some wry rich stone is being found. A stw n? company is being formea to work the ground and put in a level to get the dip of the Piemior gold. , Wku.inv.ton. — Energetic prospecting is being carried on under Mr Hoimbiook, and we have seen some quaitz biokon from a nice-looking reef which kliow* .strong blotches of coaise gold. Welcome. — The winze is now connected with the lovel, and next week the manager ■will commerce stoping and take out .some quartz for crushing a,s soon as he can get the use of five head of stampers. Aumy (I.M. Co.— The manager, Mr William lioldsworthy, has hail the men engaged in the Te Aioha pmtion of the Company's property stripping a reef, about 4 feet for a distance of HO feet, and prospecting the smi.ice , by blasting out and and breaking down tlio cap of the reef, fiom which good piospects cm be obtained on l>oundiug the .stone. A cio.s.scut is being driven to cut the reef about lT>O feet noith of where the reef is being shipped ; the manager expects to intersect the icef in .i few feet of diiving.
