Tiik appeal fiom the judgment given by Judge Gillies in this case has been lieird at Wellington, before Judges Johnson (president), Richmond and Williams. Mr H. D. Bell (Izard and Bell;, and Mr de Lautour appeared for the appellants, and Mr Hcsketh represented the respondents. The case commenced on Thursday, and concluded yesterday, the bunch reserving judgment, winch will probably be gi\ en hi a week.
