Supreme Court. In the Supreme Court to-day, the action Robt. Coope v. Colem.in, Clark and Rees, wa* dismissed, owing to non prosecutioH.
Accident. A man named Francis Stanley sustained a very serious compound fracture of the arm at Pukekohe yeiterday, by being thrown from a horse which he was riding. He was brought in to the hospital, where the fractured limb was set by Dr Haines.
Imported StockBy the steamer Waihora which arrived to-day, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company received 72 Southdown sheep and 23 lambs.
Auckland and the Cabinet. Nothing has transpired regarding the appointment of the new Minister, Mr Swanson, who might obtain a portfolio, has rebolved not to accept office. The names of Messrs Peacock, Hurst, Morris and Whyte are mentioned. Some Ministers are oelieved to favour Capt. Morris, but most probably Mr Peacock will be chosen.
