Accident. A man named Francis Stanley sustained a very serious compound fracture of the arm at Pukekohe yeiterday, by being thrown from a horse which he was riding. He was brought in to the hospital, where the fractured limb was set by Dr Haines.

Imported StockBy the steamer Waihora which arrived to-day, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company received 72 Southdown sheep and 23 lambs.
