association.] Wellington, Tuesday. Mr JT. E. Redmond lectured again this evening to a good audience, tbe subject being " The Irish Land Question," Mr W. Hutchison, M.H.R., presided. At the conclusion of this addiess, Mr Redmond was loudly applauded, and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded him. If is expected he will leave for the South tomorrow night. ,
Kumaiia, Tuesday. Mr W. Redmond addressed a large audience at the Theatre last night, on the " Irish Poets,"concluding with a shoit farewell to the people o£ the West Coast. He left bv coach this morning for Christchurch. The total financial results of his visit to the West Coast is £1438, or £400 more than was expected altogether iv New Zealand.
