THE TIMBER FLOATING ACT, 1873.

Crown Lands Office. Auckland, October 4, 1883. Notice is heieby given to all Owners and Occupiers of land on the Banks of the Waikato River that an application has been made by Frederick Alexander Whitaker under the Timber Floating Act, 1873, for a License to use the said River from the point of intersection of the Southern boundary of the Waotu Block with the Waikato River to the mouth of the Karapiro Creek, at Camin thebridge, Provincial District of Auckland, for the purpose of rafting or floating Logs, Lumber, Timber, Firewood, Posts, Rails, or other Wood, therein ; and that objections, if any, to the said application, must be addressed to the undersigned, and lodgedat this Office on or before TUESDAY, the 6th day of November next.
