CONDITIONS.
Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination and colours, age, and pedigree ot hoise, addiessed to the Secretary, Post-office Cambridge, or Mi \V. Percivdl, Auckland, not later than Monday, the 12th November, 18S3. Weights will appear in Auckland and Waikato papers on Thursday, the loth November, 1883 Acceptance money payable to Secretary or Mr Peicival, by Satiuday, 17th November, IBS 3, befoie 10 p m. Weights for Stewards' Handicap will be declared after the Cup has bei-n run for, and acceptances will be received up to a quarter of an hour befoie the race. In the event of a walk over, only 50 per cent, of stakes will be paid. No entry will be received tweept on the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 2sovs. which will be foifeitcd to the funds of the Club should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. The Rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. Ten per cent, will be deducted from prize in each cv ent for second hoi se.

Conditions. All events except the handicaps shall be posteury. For all post entry events, 3 to start or no event. All disputes shall be settled by the committee, and their decision shall be final. A trophy will be givpn to the competitor scoring the greatest number of points in the handicaps thioughout. All the competitors in the handicaps to appear in proper athletic costume. *Nominations for races 3, ."5, 9, 1 1, 13, and 15. addiessed to the Secietary, will be received at Mr R. Kirkwood'sDuke of Cambridge Hotel up till 8 p.m. of Friday, Oct. 29th ; nomination fee to accompany each letter. Entrance money in each event shall be 5 per cent on amount of Ist prize. Nomination fee in all handicaps 2s ; acceptance fee, the amount neces&ary to complete the o per cent. Handicaps will appear in The Waikato Times and Gazette of Nov, 3rd.
