WELLINGTON, Night. At the next meeting of the Now Zealand Kino Association in Auckland, the amount of prize money will be fioni £500 to £GOO. This is less than half the amount given ,last year. " Speaking of Mr Dargaville's action in the House last .session, it says:—" Reference to Hansard proves that while all manner of measures of practical importance were being diicussed, lie contributed nothing whatever from his store-, of wisdom and knowledge to their right adjustment. In fact, for the general purpose of which members are elected, he w.is obviously a complete failure." The article concludes by stating that the meeting was no doubt packed for the occasion by this reckless slanderer.
