THE MAORI MINSTREL TROUPE.
-«► . TO THE KDITOR. ►Sru,— On penif.nl of your widely circulated paper of 2nd October uist., I observed a loca 1 of 01 ring to the Cambiidge Maoii Miiihtiel Combhiiition Troupe, accusing them of a want of cohesion. Though thanking your coriL^pondent for tho flatteiy theieiu cont.iincd as to our musical talents, u c felt it incumbent to gi\ c an e\])lanation why -we have not yet appealed befoie the public. Our hist proposed cntei tainment would have been in aid of the Cambiidgo Public Hall, but m\ mg to piovious engagements of the liall foi- arious othei meetings we were unable to obtain it for the pmpoMj of our in.iotices. Wo hope, how ever, to give the public the most convincing pi oof of our cohesion by hhoitly giving an entertainment, which we tiu.st, through the medium of your valuable columns, will largely inciease the funds of the hall.— l am, !cc, MAhSA JOH.VhOX. Gambudge, 3id October.
