Saturday. Yesterday Detective Neal arrested a passenger by ths steamer Doric for having in his {Kisraraion a quantity of smuggled jeweller}'. Last Night. The Customs revenue for September was €23,818, and the beer duty £1261. Last yeir the respective amounts were: — '£13,048 and £805. The following sentences were passed at tho Supreme Court: —Charles Board, six weeks imprisonment, without hard labour, for assault; William Augustus No»n, 14 years penal servitude, for forgery and uttering; and "Robert Weller, 4 years penal servitude, for forgery and uttering. Noon was a very old offender.
