OKOROIRE HOT SPRINGS.
Dukikg the coming summer these springs promise to be a favourite resort of the Cambridge public. Indeed, several parties have already availed themselves of a trip to this infant sanatorium, though early in the season, and, notwithstanding the roughness <of the loads for driving, when the question of pleasure w taken into consideration. It is a great pity that these springs, which are on a native reserve, could not find their way into the hands of some enterprising pakeha, who might make thorn, with a comparatively small expenditure, a source of even greater attraction and benefit, in a sanitary benae, than they are at present. The Okoroire Springs, with their picturesque surroundings which appear to their best advantage on a beautiful dumraer day, when everything in Nature presents its brightest and moht attractive aspect, constitute beyond doubt one- ot the most compensating i e->orts lying within an easy distance of the Cambridge district, .v.ul connected with that town by an excellent rcud. Parties going to the springs can be accommo'l.ilod with a tout by calling at tho Osford Hotel, MrMcM.mus having made provioion for the public in this respect.
