CAMBRIDGE CRICKET CLUB.
The annual meeting oi the above club was held at the Duke of Cambridge Hotel on Saturday evening last, at 7.30. There was an unexpectedly lai#e attendance of members, evidencing much interest in the success of the i-lnb for the ensuing season. The chair was occupied by Mr 11. E. Cotton. The minutes of the last annual meeting were icad and confirmed, and the accounts for last season having been audited were passed. After some little discussion, the following officers were elected for the ensuing season :— Dr. Waddington, President ; Major Wilson, Vice-President ; H. K. Cotton, Captain ; J. I. Sharp, Hon. Secretary and Treasurer. The iollowing were elected a committee :— Rev. H. R. Dewsbury, Messrs Moore, Kirk wood, Case, and A. B. Stubbing. The subscription was fixed at os, and some other routine work arranged. The usual votes of thanks to the out-going officers and chairman terminated the proceedings.
