CiißisTOiiuiU'ir, Last Night. Seventy-two men applied at Addington woikshops to-day for work, but from the scarcity of tools, onty twenty-seven ivrre employed. Six of these were put on ,stone- breaking at half-a-crown a .cubic yard, and thp remainder at digging ditches at 4s 6d a-day. The other applicants will get woik on applying tomorrow.
