Mr Ai ikhd Bockland's Wkkki.v Rm'out.— At the Haymarket on Friday, fodder brought from 3s to 6s the cwt. ; oats, 2s 8d; maize, 3s 4A the bushel ; seed potatoes, £i 10s to £5 the ton. Horse stock were in less number than usual, but in good enquiry at fully late values. On Tuesday, more hay was brought forward than on any previous Tuesday ; there was a good demand, fully equal to Friday's price*. At the hide and skin sale, hides were slightly hotter ; worth, best quality, ranging from 2jd to 3\<l the 1b : tallow, t9i the cwt ; best sheepskins, 3s to 3a 3d each. At the sale of W. Cosgrave's furniture on Wednesday, there was a verr numerous attendance, and good prices obtained throughout. At Remuera, on Thursday, owing to bad weather, no store, andvrryfew dairy cattle were brought forward. Fat cattle were in usual numbers— l7o head yarded— and sold at late values. About 800 fat sheep were disposed of at recent price* ; good wethers fetching from lbs to 245. Mkssrs. Huntfr and Nolans Wki kl> Rt.l'OKT.—Horse*: The market has been rather dull, as is generally the case when only local horses arc offered. Pritcs ha\e remained unaltered. At the Durham Yards, on Tuesdiy, scarcely the usual number were entered, and of those a Jew did not find purchasers; but there remained an unsatisfied demand {or all descriptions of good stamp, and pairs of carriage horses would ha\e found purchasers at good hjxm-es, "We quote— Hacks, from £5 2-s Gd to £13 10> : medium draught, from £10 to £21, Wool, Hides, and Skins: Iherc has been ,i moderate supply, .md an upward tendency in prices for hides and sktns. Hides sold at from 2^d to .Jjd ; station skins, Is 5d to 2s i)d ; but< hers' skins, from 3s to 3s lOd ; tallow, 26s (Id to 20s. Cattle : The supply has been rather short, .i.id demand steady. Prices for fat beasts advanced 10s per head. At the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday dairy cows were in fair demand, but few really good animals -were submitted. Stores scarce, and purchasers were in attendance. There v> as an upward tendenty in prirc. bhetp wore in adequate supply, corresponding demand, best •wethers sold at 27s each.
