Horse stork in mddcrate numbers, no frc»h stock being offered, but in steady demand j it fully lato \nlucs. At the Haymarkct. on Tucsdsy, the supply of fodder was l.ligcr than previously, and prices compare favourably , with those obtained on Friday. Salt buttur brought from Od to 8d per lb. ; hides, ljd to 2Jd ; tallow, 25< to 30.? per cwt. ; butchers' skins, 3s 8d to 3> Od ; station skins, 8d to 3s 7d each. At the countiy cattle sales, held .it L'okcno and Drurj, on Monday and Wednesday, there was an improved' inquiry for stock of all classes, pirticu!a 1/ je irliii,; to two-year-old steers. HUNTLRAVD I\OLA\'s A\ I.CKLY K.Eroßi.—There has been a slight alteration in the market, both as to supply and demand, but the advance in price has been scnicc noteworthy. At the Durham Yards on Friday the • number entered foi disposal by auction was up to the average. Purchasers were in attendance, and in se\eral instances the expectations of vendors were exceeded. We quote hacks iiom L 5 tOs to LU 10-, ; ircdium draught from LlO 10s to L 24 ; draught horses, L-'5 to L 32 10. Cattle : There has been again a large supply ot fat beasts, and a model ate one oi d.iiiy and store stocks. Last week's prices were baiely maintained, but the decline was scarcely perceptible. At Newmarket on luosday, where there was a pood muster of tat beasts, but a short one of d.iiiy and store stock. The yards were deal ed.
