PUKETE.

The Board of Education have granted a sum of money to be expended in fencing and laying down in grass part of the school reserve in this district. When the work is finished there will be a continuous line of improved land from Havelock Hill, near Ngaruawahia, to about two miles from Hamilton on that side of the road, as the purchaser of Mr Morris' farm has already fenced in and ploughed what was formerly a waste. These improvement?, with what is going on at Captain Steolo's property, Hnrrisville, will shortly make this one of the best districts in the Waipa.— (Correspondent).
