Madrid, August 10. King Alfonso has decided to make a tour tWugh the disturbed provinces, and renew the garrisons at various towns. Reports are to hand from Catalonia and the northern provinces stating that the rebellion may now be considered over. The despatch of a loyal body of troops to the disturbed districts lias had the desired effect. There seems every leason to hope that there will not be any recurrence of the insurrectionary movement.

Constantinople, August 13. Intelligence is to hand from S.ilonica, in Iloumalin, on the Gulf of Saloniea, that a large party of brigands yesterday entered the , town and captured the Turkish Governor, whom they carried off into the interior. Steps arc now being ' taken to secure the release of the Governor.

Alkxaxmua, August 13. The cordon which wns established round this city to prevent the spread of cholera has been aholisjicd, as there is jiow but little fear of the epidemic extending.
