The Threatened Rising in Spain. Madrid, August 9.
Intelligence having been received by the Government that revolutionary designs have been manifested in the ranks of the military stationed near Logrono and Barcelona, a large force of loyal troops has been despatched to these places in viewot a possible rising. The recent indications of revolutionary tendencies in the army have caused much alarm, and the Cabinet has consequently issued proclamations announcing the suspension of the constitution now existing in Spain. Later. News is to hand from Barcelona that numbers of insurgents who had congregated near that town have dispersed, owing to the intelligence that a large body of troops ie on its way to the scene.
