Hides were scarce, rather inferior, and sold at 2 Jd. Tallow sold at from 27s Od to 29s 9d per cwt. Cattle : The number brought forward ot all descriptions has been below thu average, but there has been a steady demand, and rather an upward tendency in price. The beef and dairy pens at Newmarket on Tuesday wore well tilled, but no .stores were yarded, but there was a moderate supply ot the latter, and also of dairies.
