Parliamentary. The Sttir special correspondent telegraphs to-day : I can state authotitatively that Government do not intend including the resumption of pre-emptive right in their native policy. It is understood that when Mr de Lautour moves the second reading of the Land Company's Bill, Major Atkinson -will move an amendment to the effect that the principle of the bill will interfere with the native policy of Government. Mr Seddou is desirous 1 of getting the Mines Act amended in the direction of the reduction of water right fees and rents.
