TE AROHA TRAMWAY CONS TRUCTION.

During the past month our readers will ho pleased to learn considerable progress has lieen intuit: a\ ith the above work, Mr H. H. Adams, the engiueer-in-charge, having taken advantage of the tine weather which has prevailed for some tims past, in pushing matters ahead. Notwithstanding the vastness of the woik and the dillicnlties with which the workmen and council have had to contend, and which it is needless to recount, neither timo nor advantage has been lost, and, witli a continuance of fine weather, it is expected that the loth September will see everything completed, and the trucks plying to and fio conveying the quartz from the mines to the battery.
