Te Aroha Riding Roads and Bkidg^s Obstruction Act, ISB2, RATEPAYERS of the above riding are hereby notified, in terms of Section 12 of the act above quoted, that the Piako County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £5"290, for the purpose of forming and giavcllnig about nine miles of main load, from the Thames County Boundaiy to Shaftesbury I the cost of which is estimated at tho above-mentioned sum. The yeaily payments (10) required to be paid to the Government will be £132 ss, and the Special Rate required to meet them will be three-sevenths of a penny in the £ on the rateable value of the Te Aroha Outlying District. The plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of such proposed work may be seen at the office of the County Engineer, Te Aroha, during ordinary business hours. A POLL of the Ratepayers of the above Riding will take place at the Public Hall, Te Aroha, on Tuesday, 19th day of June, 18S3, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. By order. CHAS.
