New Barristers. Aucklaxd, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, Messrs Hugh C.impbell, J. P. Campbell, Thos. Hall, and J. M. H. Lush were admitted to practice as banisters and solicitors. Mr Hugh Campbell has been taken into paptnprslpp by Mr J. B. Russell, and Mr J. P. Campbell intends $o practice his profession on his own account at Sambridge.

Bankruptcy Proceedings. In the Supreme Court, in bankruptcy to-day, Lewis Rmnbejl and Martin Swallow Qhtained. thpir discharge.

Diseased Meat. In the Police Court, Pascoe, butcher, was fined £5 for having meat unfit for food.
