TE A WAMUTU CHEESE FACTORY.

The first general meeting of shareholders of the Te Awantutu Cheese and Rtcon Factory Company (Limite.l) wns held in the Public Hall, To Awamutu, on Saturday last, a fair number uf shareholders being present. The accounts and directors' report were read by the Chainmn, Mr J. W. Bridg-m-m, from which it appeared thnt the total expenditure had been £3396 5s lid, but from the short period the fautory h cl been worked, the small supply of milk (about 312 gallons per di>) in cotuoyuence of the dry season, and from other causes— incidental to most new indu&ti ics —the balance was, oh had been anticipated, on the wrong side of the ledger, and so there was no dividend.
