Adeliade, May 24. Joe Thompson, the well-known bookmaker, who waa expelled from the enclosure on Saturday, has issued a writ against the Adeliade Racing Club for £0000 damages. The races, which were to have taken place to day, the second day of the Adc lade Racing Club's meeting, have been postponed on account of the heavy rain which has been falling since an early hour.
Melbourne, May 24. At the volunteer review, held hero today, 2000 men were under arms. The weather was rainy.
