She may, therefore, be expected to arrive here during the second week in June. A man named Edward Hughes, who recently served a long sentence in Dunedin for burglariously entering a jeweller's shop in Christchurch, has been arrested on a charge of pawning a diamond ring, knowing it to be stolen property. It is believed that .the ring formed a portion of the property stolen in Christchurch several years ago. The Wellington City Advance and Deposit Company have declared a dividend of 15 per cent.
