Syrney, May 12.

Before the conclusion of fc'ic sitting of the Intercolonial Conference a resolution was passed in favour of the reduction of rates on Pi ess telegrams from Europe by 23 per cent. It was also decided that intercolonial telegiams between Victoria and New South Wales should be reduced to Is per ten words. The other colonies lepreseutcd would not agree to a smaller reduction.
