Ratepayers of Pukekura Riding, and of that part, of Rangiaohia Riding recently included in the Pukekura Highway District, are hereby notified, in terms of section 12 " Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882," that the Waipa County Council ha\ c made an application to the Government for a loan ot £300, for the pui pose of constructing that part of the Main Cambiidge-Ohaupo Road commencing at Fleming's corner and extending 53 chains to wauls Ohaupo, within the Rangiaohia Riding, the estimated cost of which is £350. The ten yearly payments required to be made to Government will be £7 10s each, and the special late required to meet them will be I of a penny on the rateable value per annum. Plans and paiticulais may be inspected at the office of Mr T. G Sandes, Engineer to the Council, Hamilton. To decide whether the County shall or shall not borrow the £300 and execute v orks above mentioned, a POLL of the Ratepayers will be taken at the Schoolhouse, Pukerimu, on SATURDAY, June 2nd next, commencing at 9 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. EDWARD LAKE; Chairman Waipa County Council.
