CAMBRIDGE TOWN BOARD.

A special meeting of the above body was held at the town, bqaycl office, Cambridge, on Tuesday evening last. Present : Crs. T. Wells (chairman), Hewitt and Johnson.

The financial position of the board was at present : i Overdraft, £62S ; aud £400 liabilities. [ Their rates only brought them in about £350 a year. The Chairman was authorised to make whatever suitable arrangement was possible for a loan of £1000.
